Medical tubing extrusion system

puller-gauge

Precision tubing extrusion line for medical applications, featured with tube internal pressure control, seperate cooling and vacuum control. With R&D cooperation with local universities, our extrusion line can produce tubing at very high extrusion speed (Max 150m/min) with very good stability and high precision in tubing diameter (CPK value≥1.6). We have well established customer base with local medical devices manufacturers.

Features of tubing lines:

  •    Screw design from USA, with excellent mixing and melting, which guarantee stable and high-speed extrusion for the tubing material with very low pressure fluctuation.
  •   Separate accurate control of vacuum and water system, ensuring stable vacuum degree, cooling water level and water flowing.
  •   Controllable internal pressure system for better diameter precision.
  •    Laser gauge of two-direction high speed diameter measurement system for measuring diameter on line, measuring precision can get to ±0.001MM.
  •    High precision puller using servo motor drive.
  •    Cutting unit driven by servo system, ensuring high speed and high accuracy cutting. Adjustable cutting length and automatic counting.

Tubing Extrusion

Tubing Extrusion

Do you know how many times a day you use products created from plastic tubing? Plastic tubing is one of the most common products created via plastic extrusions. This is one of the best and most varied uses of plastic extrusion technology, as products created through extrusions can be almost infinite in length, and plastic fabrication often requires extreme lengths in order to meet clients’ needs.

A plastic tube can be created from many dissimilar resins, including PVC, polystyrene, polycarbonate, and polysulfone. With assistance from plastic extrusion professionals, clients can order custom plastic tubing of an almost endless variety, and to their exact specifications.

Many dissimilar industries use tubing, and the list of industries continues to grow seemingly by the minute. Some of the bigger sectors which use tubing regularly in the fabrication of their products admit automotive companies, electronics manufacturers, and medical supply manufacturers.

Types of applications for tubing are wide and varied. The two primary uses of tubing ar to carry liquids and gasses, or as structural components. One of the many advantages of using tubes is that they can be used in a variety of temperature settings, depending on the material used in their manufacturing. Plastic tubing can be used indoors, or out, and even within human beings for operative applications if the tubing is of medical grade. One of the most common types of tubing that many people don’t even think about, but use on a daily basis, is the type of food-safe tubing known as a common drinking straw.
